The Optimist Group of Roseburg and The Ghosts of Roseburg Past present their SECOND annual walking tour bringing you the dark stories of downtown Roseburg.

The 2025 version will begin and end at the Elks Lodge. VIP tours will run on Saturdays and include a Prime Rib dinner and special entertainment from the Victorian Theatre of Myrtle Creek.

Suitable for 18+, must be able to walk one mile.

Must be able to tolerate sudden noises or surprises.

Specters of the past adorn our two-hour haunted walking tour through the streets of downtown Roseburg. Bring comfortable shoes and your curiosity of the macabre as we explore haunted downtown Roseburg.

Embark with us as we share over a century of historical facts and stories of Roseburg’s strange but true past. Tales of murder and gun fights will be shared, and restless spirits await you.

A VIP option is available on Saturdaynights that includes a prime rib dinner at the Elks Lodge and entertainment from the Victorian Theatre of Myrtle Creek,

WALKING TOUR ON JACKSON + MAIN

Check in at the Roseburg Elks Lodge. You will visiting leaf-covered streets and local businesses where restless spirits are said to haunt.

COMFORTABLE SHOES RECOMMENDED.

VIP TOUR WITH DINNER AND SHOW

Check in at Roseburg Elks Lodge. VIP tours end with a prime rib dinner at the Elks Lodge and entertainment from the Victorian Theatre of Myrtle reek.

Hear TRUE tales of murder and crime, triumph and tragedy, rivalry and revenge as we journey down Jackson and Main Street. Feel the presence of the ghosts of Roseburg past!

WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO?

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE ROSEBURG OPTIMIST CLUB TO SUPPORT THEIR COMMUNITY EFFORTS TO SERVE DOUGLAS COUNTY CHILDREN THROUGH VARIOUS INITIATIVES.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE. IN THE EVENT OF RAIN, PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING A PONCHO AND UMBRELLA.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

THE TOURS ARE ADULTS ONLY.

DO YOU GO INSIDE BUILDINGS?

Yes, there will be locations where the tour goes into buildings and all guests should be able to go up and down stairs.

HOW LONG DOES EACH TOUR LAST?

Each tour is approximately two hours.

CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?

NO BUT YOU CAN DRINK AFTER WARDS AT THE ELKS LODGE.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

FOR YOUR SAFETY, NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.

IS IT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

he walking tour can accommodate wheelchairs, however there are stairs involved during the tour and wheelchairs may not have access.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Photos can be taken in all outside locations. There are a few inside locations where phones or cameras will not be allowed.

CAN I BRING MY GHOST HUNTING EQUPMENT?

Yes, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the tour.

IS THIS THE ONLY TOUR?

we hope to incorporate the feedback we receive and to do additional tours in the future.
